Migros is further developing its retail media offering, thereby expanding advertising opportunities at physical points of sale (POS). Digital formats at the POS are becoming increasingly important in the dynamic retail sector because they have an impact at the very moment of purchase. The steles enable messages to be displayed directly where purchases are made. The info stele displays both national and local offers and promotions relating to Migros. Several steles are set up in each branch to engage with and inform customers during their shopping experience.
With the help of interfaces to the Migros systems, content creation is largely automated, without the need for manual adjustment. This means that the stele can be used as a «plug-and-play» solution in every supermarket and automatically displays locally relevant content. The rollout of this stele is being carried out in collaboration with Migros' store designer.

Standardised, efficient and simple
Through a standardised installation and delivery process in coordination with the store fitter, the info stele is ready for installation in a new branch within a short space of time.
Highlights include the following:
- Efficient content display: The interfaces in the Migros system enables the attraction of content (e.g. daily highlights).
- Standard process: The integration into the internal MGB webshop offers a standardised ordering process and so allows supermarkets to easily and efficiently retrieve the modules.
Motion Design
Various screen formats are used - from large steles to smaller displays. The combination of long-distance effect and targeted information transfer creates a consistent digital brand experience for Migros customers.
Modular templates were developed for the content display - from full-screen layouts for eye-catching presentations to split-screen versions for parallel content.
The templates are dynamically structured and enable flexible, brand-compliant content production across all screen formats.
